WaterPR is a boutique agency specializing in public relations, event management and communications for clients in the water and environmental sectors. We envision a world where water and environmental policy are informed by good science, common sense, and real-world experience. To that end, we provide our clients the opportunity to get their message out to their target audience — whether it be the public, clients/constituents, lawmakers/regulators, or any other group — in a timely fashion and a professional, well-crafted manner.

WaterPR believes that the key to success for our company is engaged, enthusiastic employees. We strive to create an environment where all staff members can be heard and contribute to the growth and direction of the company, regardless of job title or seniority. We want to leave the world a better place than we found it. Our commitment to being environmentally friendly includes participating in our building's recycling program, using natural light in our office rather than overhead lighting whenever possible, offering incentives for employees to use public transportation, and offering environmentally friendly solutions to our clients for their projects, whether it's "greening" their events or consulting on sustainable business practices.

WaterPR strives to provide clients with personalized, one-on-one attention. We believe in guiding and educating our clients without overburdening them. We are here to help communicate each client's needs to their target audience and we do so with responsiveness, accuracy and excitement. Our agency structure allows employees and clients to collaborate, share, and create change.

Our Team Members

Sharon Mineo With her sharp eye for detail and calm demeanor in the flurry of communications activities, Sharon Mineo serves as director for WaterPR. In addition to working on all facets of client projects, she oversees management functions for the agency. She holds a master's degree in horticulture from Texas A&M and a bachelor's degree in botany from The University of Texas.

Linda Fernandez Recognized as one of Texas’ foremost water communicators, Linda Fernandez led WaterPR from 1998, when she formed as the agency as Fernandez Group, Inc, until March 2008. In April 2008, Linda assumed the role of senior advisor to WaterPR. Her public relations and media experiences bring a variety of perspectives, ensuring successful planning and implementation of projects of high visibility and public interest.
