Texas Irrigation Expo 2010

WaterPR assisted the Harlingen Irrigation District with planning the 2010 Texas Irrigation Expo as part of the Agricultural Water Conservation Demonstration Initiative, a program sponsored by the Texas Water Development Board. Read more here...

American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association

WaterPR took over management of ARCSA in 2007, and worked to organize the membership rolls, finances, and administrative procedures, as well as providing outstanding event planning, outreach efforts, and online resources, growing the membership over 350% over three years' time. Read more here...

Since WaterPR assumed outreach and administrative duties for South Central Membrane Association in spring 2005, we’ve grown the membership from zero to almost 200 strong, and have helped organize quiality training events for operators and industry professionals. Read more here...

Texas’ First Seawater Desalination Project

WaterPR led the public information outreach for Texas’ premier desalination project, the Lower Rio Grande Regional Pilot facility located on the Brownsville Ship Channel. With other water-strapped regions in Texas and the Gulf Coast watching carefully, we mapped out a public relations strategy to draw legislators, public interest groups and water policy professionals when this cutting-edge seawater desalination pilot successfully launched in spring 2007. Water Smart

Excessive outdoor water use and the problems it causes for small utilities — that was the issue for Water Smart 2000, a partnership of the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission and the Texas Water Development Board working with statewide associations. Quality Water for the Brazos Community

WaterPR provided public outreach and information services for Quality Water for the Brazos Community, a six-year project promoting incentives for water quality best management practices.
